Synopsis

Director V.N.Aditya who gave us 'Nenunnanu' in the past, has come out with a small story and an interesting cast for his venture 'Boss'. The story of the film is inspired by the Hollywood flick titled 'Two Weeks Notice'. He partly succeeds in his attempt in presenting a film with a good touch.

Gopala Krishna aka GK (Nagarjuna) is the MD of a big construction company. SRK (Sayaji Shinde) is his business rival. He appoints Anuradha (Nayanatara), an orphan, as his personal secretary. As they work together Anu falls in love with GK. Circumstances force GK to shout at Anu. She resigns to her job. GK gives her a month's time to reconsider her decision. Meanwhile, he appoints Sruthi (Poonam Bajwa) as his secretary and tells her to learn office work from Anuradha. Later, Anu learns that Sruthi is threatened by SRK (Sayaji Shinde), GK's business rival and informs GK. GK teaches him a lesson and saves Sruthi. When Anu proposes GK, he rejects her, saying that he is already married to Sanjana (Shreya), daughter of Viswanath (Nassar) and Sumitra (Sumalata). Also that she died in Tsunami. Meanwhile, GK learns that Sumitra is dead and her last request is GK and Anu's marriage. And how GK and Anu unite forms the climax.

Performance:
Nagarjuna excells as the boss. His emotional sequences are good. Nayanatara looks slim and gorgeous. Her charming looks impresses one and all. She does her best in the film. Chemistry between Nagarjuna and Nayanatara is fantastic. Poonam Bajwa is alright. Shreya does her cameo role well. Saloni appears in a song. Sayaji Shinde suits well as a baddie. Sumalatha justifies her role. Ditto with Nassar. Brahmanandam and Sunil are superb. The others are okay. Music by Kalyani Malik is fine. Dialogues are good. Comedy sequences are excellent. Fight sequences are interesting. Cinematography is good. Direction and screenplay are alright.

Verdict: Good
