'Kattradhu Kalavu' is directed by Balaji Devi Prasad. And he has come up with a routine tale and though the presentation was good, the narrative was not upto the mark.

The story begins with Krishna (krishna) and Krishnaveni (vijayalakshmi) who come to Rameshwaram and get married in a temple. Eventually, they get chased by a special police team from Delhi led by a tough cop (kalyan). In this, the newly married couple is given refuge by a flower vendor (sampathraj). After getting them to their home, he reveals that he is also a cop and pressurizes them to reveal their true story. Krishna reveals their flashback which involves a minister (haneefa) and that's why all this. What happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen
Performance:
Krishna does his bit well and he manages to score. Vijayalakshmi looks seductive but she has to work on her body language and expressions. The real show stealer was Sampathraj who was a revelation. Santhana Bharathi was okay, Kalyan was not good, Haneefa was upto the mark. The others didn't have much screen time.
Music:
'Kattradhu Kalavu' music is composed by Paul J. And the background score was okay and songs were a letdown, not upto the mark.
